Our Individuals service includes consultation, hair preparation, and installation of individual butterfly locs using the crochet method. Style is finished with neat parting and shaping; time varies by length and density. Aftercare guidance and product recommendations provided.

With proper care, installations can last 6–8 weeks before a touch-up. Lifespan depends on hair growth, styling habits, and maintenance. We recommend professional maintenance every 6–8 weeks to refresh parts, tighten loose locs, and preserve scalp health.

When installed with correct tension and maintained gently, crochet locs protect natural hair. Avoid excessive pulling, heavy styles, or prolonged tightness. Regular moisturizing, gentle cleansing, and professional maintenance help prevent breakage and preserve hair health.

Installation time varies with hair length, density, and customizations. Expect 3–6 hours on average for individual butterfly locs. During booking we'll estimate time based on your desired size and complexity to ensure a relaxed, unrushed appointment.

Sleep with a satin scarf or bonnet, refresh edges gently, and avoid heavy oils that weigh locs down. Wash every 2–3 weeks with diluted shampoo, moisturize scalp, and schedule professional touch-ups to maintain neatness and longevity.

You can exercise; secure locs and rinse sweat after workouts to prevent buildup. Swimming is possible but chlorine and salt can dry the hair. Rinse thoroughly, use a protective cap, and deep condition afterward to restore moisture and prevent frizz.
