Appointments typically take 1.5 to 3 hours depending on hair density, length, and scalp sensitivity. Our stylists work carefully to ensure even tension and neat stitching, so times may vary; we’ll give an estimated duration when you book.
This service is for own hair only, so added extensions aren’t included. If you want added length or volume, ask about our extensions or braiding services during booking — we offer alternative appointments tailored to extension installation.
Wash and thoroughly detangle hair before your appointment; avoid heavy conditioners or oils that can make hair slippery. Arrive with clean, dry or slightly damp hair. Bring any reference photos to help your stylist match the desired look.
With proper care, stitch cornrows can last four to eight weeks. Touch-ups, scalp care, and nightly protection like silk scarves extend lifespan. Avoid excessive pulling, and consult us if you notice loosening or irritation to prevent premature unraveling.
Some tension or mild discomfort during installation is normal, especially with tight stitching. Communicate with your stylist immediately if pain or numbness occurs. We adjust tension and spacing to prioritize comfort while maintaining clean stitch lines.
Use lightweight scalp oils, a hydrating braid spray, and gentle sulfate-free cleansers. Avoid heavy creams or waxes that attract buildup. Apply oil sparingly to roots and moisturize the length to keep braids neat without weighing them down.
