Proper interlocking should not create excessive tension when performed correctly. Our stylists use gentle techniques to maintain healthy roots while tightening where necessary. If you have a sensitive scalp or recent thinning, mention it so we can adjust tension.
Most clients book maintenance every 4–8 weeks depending on hair growth rate and desired neatness. Thicker or faster-growing hair may need more frequent sessions; your stylist will recommend a personalized schedule during your appointment.
Minor new growth and loose ends can often be addressed within 1.25 hours, but extensive re-tightening or full-head work may require longer. We’ll assess during consultation and provide options or book additional time if necessary.
This timed service focuses on interlocking and typically doesn’t include a full wash or deep conditioning. Light product application for finishing is provided. If you need shampooing or treatments, please book a combined or extended appointment.
